As long as its fitted to manufactures spec no it wont effect your warranty

i just had one fitted to my evo, go for detachable looks better when not in use and i paid 320 all in for mine. dont go to fiat tho i was advised by dealer to use an approved independant towbar specialist as fiat wanted over 750 plus vat to install a towbar the parts people said dont bother go independant
