I get this all the time. Although sometimes it's longer than 20 seconds.

I have taken mine to the dealership about 5 times with this problem and they couldn't recreate the fault which was really frustrating so they installed the new Blue & me 5.5 update (this can be found on Fiat's website. Just click on Blue & me).

Eventually, after taking it time and time again, they recreated the fault and told me that even though the Blue & me 5.5 update was installed, it doesn't necessarily means it has installed correctly which i find very strange!

In the end, they have ordered me a new ECU for the Blue & me player but i'll be honest, ive not used it yet because it's been in the garage again for some more work so i don't actually know if this has worked!

I have a Blackberry phone and they tried to blame that because it wasn't compatiable although the Blue & me update 5.5 is supposed to make it compatiable! But i told them it does it without the bluetooth connected.

Keep taking it into them and they'll soon get fed up of you and do something about it, but believe me, you're not alone!

The MP3 playback is a little problematic. I can't save I've had it cut out mid-song, but usually restarting after a stop, it fails and reads cd/radio. Unplugging the stick and replugging it in works. So does skipping to the next track.

Others have had the ECU changed and it has worked. I must get mine booked in, but frankly don't have the time currently.

So I'd recommend getting the unit changed.
