Just had a quick look through the handbook for you:-

FUSE LOCATION
The fuses are grouped in three control units: on the dashboard, in the engine compartment and in the left-hand side of the boot.

The cigarette lighter fuse is also used for the passanger compartment socket and is Fuse 86 within the Engine Compartment Fuse Box, AMP = 15

From Page 201 in Manual "
Engine compartment fuse box fig. 192To access the fuse box located next to the battery, remove
the protective cover fig. 191 by manipulating the
points indicated by the arrow."

Hope this helps :)

thanks mate, but i'm looking for the one inside the car. not the one near to the engine

when i bought my evo my socket didnt work either, i took it back in (because i couldnt see anything in the manual about fuse number) and they replaced the fuse and it worked but didnt show me where it was

there are 2 fuse boxes in the Evo (3 if you have a high spec 5 door from memory)

there IS one in the glove box to the left hand side set well back behind the metal cover over the body computer (needle nose pliars time for them)

HOWEVER the Fag lighter fuse is located in the Engine compartment next to the battery behind the passenger side headlamp

there is a rectangular box with 4 screws (*upgraded from the original mk1 Grande puntos due to water ingress issues*) and its hiding in there it will be a yellow 20a micro fuse

it will look something like this inside (again this is the MK1 fuse box)
