Today I made a round trip of about 90 miles which involved driving on a variety of roads, including a 15 mile strech of motorway on which I used the cruise control to maintain a speed of around 57mph. The majority of the trip was on twisty B roads and did not include any urban roads with heavy traffic. Trying to drive in what I considered to be an economical manner, without being too slow, I did not improve my current Ecodrive score of 67.

Is that a good score? In order to get a higher score, just how gently do you need to accelerate? What do others think - or do you just ignore the system?

By the way, I drive a Multiair engined Eleganza.

ive used eco drive as soon a i got the car, my best score was 65
ac = 2.5
de = 3.5
gear changes = 3.5
speed = 3

my current score is
ac= 2
de = 3
gear changes = 3
speed = 5
score is 62

dont really get the programme as they both have the same amount of stars (13 out of 20)

i haven't been able to get the acceleration score above 2.5 stars

anyway your score is ok, it beats me lol.

I've just plugged in the 'stick to download my recent driving into eco:Drive and look at my score for the first time.
So far its taken about 1hr to 'download' 79% of the data which from what I can see is a poxy 1mb on the memory stick. urmm, Why?!?

I hope to offer a diesel perspective on ecoDrive once its finished downloading next tuesday... :shrug:
