Hi all,

Ive had my GP for a week now and would like to know a few things re: parts. firstly I saw an evo with wind deflectors and they looked smart (are they the same fit as the Grande?)

And it also had crystal white lights (headlights and fog lights), almost like Xeons, I was wondering are they the same fit as the grande light bulbs? And the light bulbs for the license plate (same as grande bulbs?)

And the exhaust that was on the linea race grande punto, will it fit the evo ? :)

Having problems looking for aftermarket bits as there doesnt seem to be a lot around for the evo yet, but theres loads for the grande.. i dont supose anybody knows answer to the above ?? ? :worship: Really appreciate if anyone could help ....

I fitted Grande Punto wind deflectors to mine and they fit perfectly. :D

As for bulbs check your handbook for the bulb type to make sure you order the right one’s if you choose to upgrade.
There’s been a fair few of us on the forum upgrade our bulbs, headlight, sidelight & DRL’s… the fog lights are a bit of a nightmare so I left those ones alone.
Point to note is that some parts are the same as the Grande but many do have slight differences so be careful. (y)

do either of you have a pic of these winds deflectors you mean (or a link to one online)?

Thanks, I'm defo guna order some deflecors now ! :)

Did u get the genuine fiat ones?

And I'm on my dinner now reading my big fiat book for the bulbs haha. Can I ask the best type or were you got them from?
I got my deflectors off eBay, I went for the Heko (think they’re German) ones as they have a slightly darker tint than the Fiat ones.
As for bulbs… eBay for the Mtec DRL’s and I went for Osram Nighbreaker headlights for power rather than colour although they do give a nice white light & Osram cool blue sidelights… although you could probably get better than them.

If you have a look at the pics in my profile you should be able to see them on the car.

TJ... the Heko deflectors you've got... did you have to put any clips in the wndow or sill ? tar.. Andre
Yeah they came with clips that slip in... I put the clips on with the deflectors on the Evo, having said that I had the same brand of deflectors on my old 100HP Panda and didn’t bother fitting the clips on it, can’t seem to notice the difference to be honest!
They held on the Panda just the same as the Evo.

Oh yeah... they also have small sticky pads to hold them in position too!!

Cool, but :confused:I'm just a bit warey about putting clips in the sill, and scratching window etc.
I can understand you not wanting to risk scratching the window… it’s a valid point! I’ve just checked on mine and there is no scratching on the glass (I’ve had mine fitted since May), the clips slip into the top where the deflector fits in, so I would imagine that if any scratching did occur it could only occur to the top edge (about 1cm) of the glass, as the rest of the window would not come into contact with them.
On my Panda I only used the sticky pads to fit them and they stayed on perfectly, so you could always try fitting them without using the clips first and see how they hold.
I bought my old man a pair of Genuine Fiat ones for his Grande Sporting and they are only very lightly smoked (and twice the price) whereas the Heko ones have a darker tint so that’s why I opted for them.
Really it just comes down to personal choice though.(y)
