General 3 Years Servicing?

I took delivery of my Punto Evo GP in April this year. The salesman told me it came with 3 years free servicing but now I'm not so sure. I paid for the car in full on the day of collection so didn't take out any finance deals. I read somewhere that the 3 years servicing only applies to people who took out a finance deal.

I've had no paperwork or anything to confirm this. Does anyone know whether every Evo sold comes with 3 years servicing included?

Mine didn't and I did ask about a service plan.
