Anyone else noticed the sports version dials don't light up the "km/h" and "rpm x 100"?

I mean, it's no biggee, I know which is which. :D

But surely it should be lit?

Its not just on the Sportings - they don't light up on the Elegenza either.

Anyway what do you expect - absolute attention to detail?? its not German! haha :p

Seems when they designed the dials, they didn't bother to light part of the dial.

I've tried uploading an image, but I keep getting "server I/O error" and nothing uploads.
I would question your local dealer about it. Mine seem to light up like a Christmas tree! Was able to test them this morning for the first real time in the dark

Well after quite a while of not being able to upload a pic, finally I can! Thankyou forum Gods! ;)

This is what is missing on my Sport Evo at night...

Surely EU standards would mean they must be shown? Am I going mad or is my Evo simply different?!?

I take it that's the multi function display, is that turbo boost showing?

Yes it's the multifunction display, which if you can add it to your Evo, I would certainly recommend! Shows a little snow flake at the moment and the outside temp.

I really, REALLY cannot understand why Fiat did not let this display be part of the UK spec.

Honestly, here I am living in Denmark and the default is English language anyway! So it's obviously not region problems. Why drop it, it adds a huge "cool" factor to the car. Sheesh.

Fiat just like taunting us in the UK
It was the same with the Panda 4x4, we couldn’t have it in the diesel version until they eventually brought the "Cross" out over here.

Yeah makes no sense, i mean the display probably costs a few pence to make, the multifunction has more dots so probably costs a tiny bit more (a couple of pence), the software for it has already been made.

They could charge an extra few quid, increase there profits, but no.

If it was an expensive part & was stuck in Japanese then fair enough but its so cheap / easy tis ridiculous!
