Well im new here, but im due to collect my 60plate evo on friday/

In white. Just a base spec but i love it.

will post pics soon, only had the windows tinted but all is good.

Just need some nice wheels. So if any for sale anywhere please let me know.

It seems the Fiat summer break is well over and a lot of cars are finally being delivered around the country???

Mine is being delivered this coming Tuesday at last!!

Looking forward to being the first multijet (95) owner in the Evo corner!!
I read lots of reviews that suggested the diesel would be the engine of choice - our Evo Owners list definately contradicts that!

Thanks guys, yeah i hardly do any miles, just loved the car so engine didnt bother me, mpg and insurance do though.

Also i work in the motor trade so know most tricks and luckily work opposite the fiat dealer so any problems i can literally just drop car off on way to work.

Hopefully it will be trouble free till end of warranty when she goes back for something else new, maybe even before then.

Any ideas where i can get some genuine alloys?

You could keep an eye on eBay, sometimes you see a bargain there

Otherwise I think everywhere is as expensive as Fiat dealerships from what I’ve seen

Well i picked her up today, all was aok except the ns wing mirror cover had a bad paint finish, looked like it had run. so getting that replaced next week.

i love the car, cant explain how impressed i am with her for such a cheap car.

How much did it cost yer? Any pics?

Have got the 1.4 8 valve Evo but not impressed with MPG only getting 39.4 on a motorway with a few miles urban total 50 miles.Am sure fiat said i would get 59 mpg average.How does it compare to others,its done just over 1000 miles

Sounds good to me, im getting 33.3mpg on my multiair, ive had it on 38mpg once or twice. (But then i drive "actively" i don't try for mpg)

the mpg quoted is never the mpg delivered, pretty sure a Prius is meant to be about 70mpg but my stepdads lucky to get more than 35-37.

Also the new TwinAir 500 is ment to deliver 68mpg, but you only get about 48.

Well i drive around busy town, on nation speed limit roads etc and I get an average of 40-50, depends with weather really, on the really cold times just been I was getting around 40 give or take, then when it warmed up im getting 45-50mpg.

Silly question but how do you drive on a motorway, nice and steady or super speeds, I found that made a big difference to my MPG.

Think my problem is no matter where i go every day i have to get upto 70, roundabout/lights, 70, roundabout/lights, 50, roundabout/lights, 60 roundabout, lights....for the first 6-8miles maybe a few more depending which direction i'm headed.

Really knobs my MPG, plus i tend to put my footdown alittle more than i should.

Maybe i'll try a week of driving nicely n see what my mpg does

I get this 40-50MPG putting my foot quite a lot, maybe I should try and drive like eco man next time I fill up and see what I get then.

I drive normally i think just keep to the flow ,not really watching mpg ,usually about 75/80 on motorway and keep looking for a sixth gear.Going to see how the mpg goes on in the next 1000 miles.

try driving at 56mph on the mway. and smoother, i get 35mpg driving like a tool.
i did see 50.2 driving nicely around town, but as its cold you wont see decent mpg regardless. its just a given really.
