Good. Smart. Well done.

I saw a silver Punto Evo today and for the first time I thought it looked quite attractive. I've had a real downer about the looks of these things, but in the sunshine, and clean, this new car looked lovely.

I don't know wether or not you have noticed this but where is the switch to turn on your front fog lights??

The interior picture shows the button used to turn them on is a blank (as if you don't have them ...)

I guess the cornering function still works but you can't turn them both on without it.

Another part of your saga maybe lol

ps. I'm coming for your alloy pedals :p

They weren't expensive, got them on Ebay. They are clip on ones though pretty good quality clips. The design of the Punto pedals is such that you can't use the ones that need drilled and bolted on.

Hmmmmm I never noticed that to be honest. There was a thread about this before (perhaps yours?). I looked at them manual and it says to activate the front fogs to use the front fog button. So this is a mystery. Perhaps need to give the dealer a phone tomorrow to see what you are meant to do. Thanks for pointing that out.

Yeah, it's rather odd that the button to turn them on isn't there lol

I think I remember a mention of this before too, not sure where though

Haha… and there was me thinking I was the only one that had that problem!:ROFLMAO:
Just go back to the dealership (Arnold Clark in my case) and tell them they’ll just order the switch up and fit it for you… two second job… don’t believe them when they say they need the car the whole day.:nono:
All the wires will be there, it was on mine… just some Italian must have fallen asleep at his post when it came to fitting the switch.

ayrshiredude out of curiosity what are you doing with your original wing mirror covers? Keeping or eBaying them?

To be honest hadn't really given it much thought. Not sure if its worth selling them or not. Usually when I put something extra on I keep the original so when I sell the car I put the original back on. However I suppose than by the time I come to sell this on it is likely to be a brand new model.

If you ever decide to stick them on eBay let me know ;), I just stuck red covers on mine the other week but I really like the shade of red of your car.(y)

Well took a trip to the dealers today regarding the fog light button issue. They were unaware of this and were as surprised as I was that it was missing. They had a basic model, without fogs, sitting in the showroom and it had the button . So he took it out and swapped it over to mine. tried everything and hey presto - sorted.

Unfortunately yesterday I noticed a couple of minor paint defects so they took photos of it and will let me know what is to be done about it. The saga continues.

I had a really bad paint defect on the drivers door, which i had sorted.
I've noticed one more defect on the rear panel while polishing, hard to notice unless given extreme attention but it bugs me, but not major enough to have fixed plus im sure now i'll just get told its been 4 months, cant complain now.

And generally while polishing ive noticed little defects here & there, really think Fiat's paint jobs are pretty poor!

Well on mine there is a small blister on the corner of the bonnet and a smaller one on the passenger door along the top. I'm no expert however I believe these are caused by dirt under the paint. The thing is if left they could get worse and cause rust. So better to get them fixed now rather than later.

The one on the bonnet is the worst, I've taken a couple of photos which was not easy.
