Hi there

I've got a new Progressive Black 1.4 GP coming on Tuesday, and wanted to add the side rubbing strips. The car was already on the way to the dealer when I went in, so couldn't do factory-fit, but main dealer want £340 for them.

Can anyone advise anywhere in the Glasgow or Edinburgh area who would be able to do supply and fit these cheaper?

When I got my sporting I opted for the dealer fitted side rubbing strips, it only cost £70 and that was Arnold Clark.
Only thing is that was for simply the plain black ones and not the body coloured ones.

Don't forget that the parts are roughly £100 plus paint plus fitting.

Typical unfortunately when ordering from the dealer. Not their fault really. That's Fiats fault for sending the parts out unpainted.

I was back in the dealer today and the salesman said if you want the silver Punto badge as per the brochure, its and extra £50 as the strips dont come with any badge.
