General Finally given in!

Very true, I ordered three weeks ago today and still not expected till early Sept  They dont sound like the greatest dealer (n)

I was well please with them that first day I walked in now I can't believe it!! When I bought my first punto fiat were at AMC in chelmsford and my boyfriend used to tell me how bad they was cause he used to work there but I never ever had any problems with them they was brilliant from the start!! Now there at glynn hopkin there rubbish!!!! Not impressed at al, I'm a very impatient person anyway but I've never had to wait longer then 2 weeks for a car!!! This just takes the p really I will be so cross if they have not ordered it and it better have the sunroof they keep forgetting this!!!

Id be ordering it somewhere else if this dealer can't get their act together. Them placing the order is hardly rocket science.

Well you would think so! But they was moaning about the finanace first but they've had the last week to order it so hopefully they have.

I'm hoping it doesn't go in october cause the value will go down on my car even more?? Or will it be ok cause the deal is already done?? Cause if I'd of got my car in august I would have got 10,000 for my car but because it wernt till sept the value has gone down!

If the dealer has given you a valuation for your car, then i wouldn't accept anything less than that unless it says in the paperwork that they can reduce the value as time goes on. Even then, i wouldn't be allowing them to make silly offers because the new car's arrived in September rather than August - that's not your fault, that's theirs for not placing the order quick enough.

If you've not already, get all the figures written down from them, including part exchange price and if they start trying to move on that, walk away.

I'd really be pressing them now, to make sure the order's been placed. If it still hasn't been placed, tell them to forget it. Imagine how bad they'd be if the car went wrong if they can't even place an order when they should!?
