General The nightmare continues

Well had been told that I would be getting the new car today (5th time I have been given a date over the last week and a half) and surprise surprise it hasn't arrived. The dealer is saying that Fiat have just changed the company they use to transport the cars however I smell s***.

I really feel like I am being fobbed off here. I seriously doubt that Fiat are gonna change their logistics company in such a way that it causes a huge backlog of car deliveries.

Anyone know anything about this?

Well, that's cr*p. Sorry to hear that.

Not that it helps, but here the dealer was 95% correct in his time, it just went a week or two over his estimate.

Or should I say guess-timate.

It does sound a little bit fishy. These cars are "built to order", which means they don't pull them from surplus stocks of cars.

It's possible they changed logistics company, but my guess is they must use various ones across the whole country. Sounds a bit odd, agreed.

Fingers crossed they get this over with.
