Hello again

I'd left my details to be called back about the multiair 16v they have contacted me saying the current 2K deposit on the gp only applies to 8V is there anywhere that offers this on the multiair 16v range?

I suspect the best person to speak to about offers would be the Dealer. You can find out about offers on the Fiat website but, as you will probably know, you always get a better deal if you haggle with your dealer.

Also sometimes the manufacturer offers are based on the list price of the new car. It is usually better to see what the dealer can offer as you often get more of a discount that way.

Worse news today wont be built till week 36 so dont expect delivery till early October, as Italy shuts for 3 weeks in in August :bang::cry::cry::cry:

I'm having it in Ambient white with black rubbing strips, style pack and visibility pack, spare wheel (is a must!!!)

On the plus side it'll be a new registration, I think?

I got spare wheel too, figured for the £25 extra it was worth every penny!

Very true mine was 35 though? Still dealer said it would be at least double to buy afterward!!

Could of been 35, cant remember exact prices now but either way its a small price to pay for ruining a perfectly good tyre with gooey ****e and praying it works just to get home to find garages wont touch the wheel in fear of the goo getting on there machine etc

Well worth doing for some peace of mind (y)

I've just put a deposit on a sporting this morning, £2k was added to the deposit. Just got to wait until the end of September now!

Hi,

Could any of you guys tell me or point me in the right direction of a dealer that will allow the 2K deposit on the 16v multiair GP?

Trying to get it, but having a lot of "That's not on that offer" sort of replies:bang:

They won't I'm afraid I was in exactly the same boat, Only 8V which I didn't want or the Sporting which I wanted but didn't want to spend this amount. I tried as you did but in the end went for the Sporting and 2k dealer (Fiat) Deposit.
It's a offer on certain models only afraid

Hope this helps :)

Yep its strange but it does not come in the contribution scheme. My branch did try to find out from Fiat why this was but never got a reply. Its strange that across the hole range theres only one engine thats not included

On this site at least, the MultiAir 105bhp seems to be the biggest seller in the Evo, so maybe they feel they don't need to boost sales of that one. Also perhaps if they had a great influx of orders for that engine, they wouldnt be able to keep up? There's already been a couple of those engines with problems mentioned on here so perhaps the factory that makes them is abit streched & Fiat wanna balance out the sales across more engines?

Just some thoughts.

Yep I tried looking for deals on the multiair, but no luck. I settled for the 1.4 8V because I got an AMAZING deal on it.

The salesman said to me that fiat have spent £80m developing the multiair engine, so therefore they want to charge full wack to get their money back.
