Here's an odd one...

What do you other start&stop owners do, when you stop your car at your destination and the start&stop kicks in?

Do you push the clutch and start it again or simply switch off the engine?

It's caught me out a couple of times. I'm in two minds over it, so I just start the engine again, before stopping it again. Which is sounding rather stupid.

I just pull up & let the engine turn itself off, and switch it off myself.

Haven't had any problems with it on that front, still having the problem now & then when i start to trust the S&S as its worked fine for weeks... and end up stalling or revving the balls out of it at the lights though!

I'm learning to like it :p

If you have a problem with it not working, and the engine management light it on, take it to a dealer... They just need to reset something to do with the gears. (I had this problem if you didnt already guess)

Yip had that one too!
Its great fun then being left sitting about at the dealership for an hour while they take their time resetting it all :bang:
Start / Stop... Great idea Fiat :yuck:

Would seem like most manufacturers will be going this way, as more and more introduce it.

I wonder if it's a future EU requirement for all cars.

Probably until they find an alternative method, i'm sure there going to find a better less mechanical/electronic intensive method at some point in the near future.
