General Bass Amp on the start & stop

Good evening,

I am getting my Mono Block Amp fitted tomoz,

was wondering if anyone has put some ICE in there car with start / stop & how it interacts with it, i.e. my amp im sure draws some juice, it has 2 x 30amp fuses, 580w RMS,, so i assume my battery would quickly drain if the engine was not running,

I remember the dealer mentioned if the rear window demist & blowers were on it would not cut out,, but i have not experianced this yet,,

May be just a case of suck it & see.

I've not, but i know if the battery is under strain (i.e air cons just kicked in full pelt) it wont... weather this is a "checklist" or a sensor on how much drain there is by the Start&Stop im not sure.

However, im pretty sure i read if the battery gets low it'll restart the engine + it'll only stay off for about 1 minute (tested this the otherday.) and the engine will come back on.

So its a case of suck it & see, but i'm pretty sure you wont be at the traffic lights and suddenly have no engine.
