I installed the eco drive when i got the car, just uploaded data to laptop, and it seems i suck :D

anyone know how accurate EcoDrive is? certainly seems very in depth

and anyone else with Evo doing it? - would be interesting to see what rating others get.

Rating: 52 :( *guilt*

I drove like a grandad today, traffic up my arse & annoyed drivers everywhere lol, still gave me like 2 stars outta 5 for acceleration.

Swear im missing something, if i go much slower and easier with the accelerator id end up stalling, or end up having someone walk up & stab me in the face for being so slow.

Mine was 51 last time i plugged it in and gave me 2weeks to get it to 62 (2 weeks are up now i think)

I got good star ratings on the 1st time plugging it in, just failed massively on acceleration. Apparently, it wants you to change gear at about 1,500 revs...

It will probably be different for me, mainly because my turbo kicks in anywhere between 1,500-2k revs. The amount of chav's crusing around York... they need to be taught lessons tbh.

I expect my rating to be the same if not, 1 or 2 points higher :p

Yeah my 1st gear rating is abysmal, to change at 1.5k you'd have to like... barely cross the line at the traffic lights! lol

Sounds like its around about the same, at 2k rpm my MPG starts dropping.
generally 1.7-1.8 it likes to be changed to be optimal.

But like you've said, i get really poor results for acceleration, and also like you've said even though ive not got a turbo i often get undertaken by a moron in a corsa, so naturally... plant it just to prove a point, im sure if i had abit of turbo power there id be even worse! lol

thats what im worried about with my sporting I'll be to tempted to just nail everything that overtakes me thinking its "just a punto" :D

I always feel like such a tool when someone zooms by me, then i zoom by them in return... all while some 3litre beast Audi is sitting there like

Had a nice long round trip to Cambridge today visiting my uncle to show off my car and get some pics / videos done.

On my way back up the A1(M) to York, I had a Nissan Micra up my tail end for the last 60miles. Everytime I saw him accelerate and indicate to ovetake... my foot seemed to slip ever so slightly onto the accelerator leaving him to eat some dust.

I discovered how to use my cruise control for the return trip so just set it for 70 and just had a reasonably nice drive besides the annoying micra :p

Just had the eco:drive compiling its results for the 2 week challenge. Challenge started on 29th March and needed to hit 61. I hit 61 on the 6th April but unfortunately have dropped down to 54 again for the past few days. I know what I have to do to boost it up again so will just keep doing that every now and again :D

ah a sporting owner! Ive just ordered mine how does it actually do on fuel consumption in the 'real' world?

I've just plugged my memory stick in after 6 days of recorded driving. My overall rating is 65 and I've got 2.5 stars for acceleration and 3 stars for everything else.
Overall not bad and after reading a few of the tips etc, I've set my target for the next 2 weeks at 70, and considering the fact i'm going to be covering about 300 miles over the coming weekend, and the majority of those will be motorway miles with the cruise control on, hopefully it will be easily achieved.

The only annoying thing I find is that my best MPG is achieved in top gear at around 58 MPH, which is very frustrating on the motorway as everyone just zooms past. Might have to just ignore that slightly and be willing to let the MPG slide down.

lol! yeah, doing 58mph on the motorway is alitttle over the top for the sake of eco drive :p

Should try the satnav eco-drive... now that'll make you paranoid! bloody thing goes from green>red if you have your footdown even slightly too much, and even cruise control uses more juice than foot on pedal.

I was on 58 last time i looked, ive done a fair few days driving since the dealership has been arsing around with my blue&me system, hope ecodrive is still in there... i shall test the USB stick tomorrow & see if theres info, ive got a 500 mile trip coming up on saturday so that'll boost me :)

If someone can tell me the best way to do it... then yeh.

I could just copy the url's from my facebook page but im not sure if it will be blocked to non friends or not :-/

I have them all saved on a USB stick aswell but I have just lent it to a mate tonight :bang:

Fuel consumption isn't something I feel I can really comment on too much. I think overall on the 2000miles I have done so far, im sat at an average consumption of 35mpg. When driving around normally I have seen it as high as the low 80's.

It all depends on your driving style I guess. If you race it around a bit (like I do) then expect in the region of 35mpg. If your drive economically then you can expect over 50mpg very easily. :)

For what it's worth my rating on my 135 is currently: 63 over 995 km

But to be honest I haven't actually tried to be good :D Naughty turbo, naughty.

14.9 km/litre though, 34.11 MPG I think using a converter.

Great to know that fiat city cars are very green!! I always worry so much for the environment and I always do things to contribute for a greener world. Fiat cars are not only good looking but also environmental friendly!! this is superb!
