Good evening all..

Picked it up today, was slightly raining with no proper sun so could not get the best picks of the Progressive Black but she looks fine,,

A couple of gripes but nothing major,,

The Start - Stop caught me out a few times,, its just so quiet u dont notice the "stop" as it happens so quick.. in fact you can still be rolling when it cuts out plus the "Shift Up /Down" feature aint very helpfull,,

The center console top tray rubber is driving me bammy,, wont sit in right,,

Im crap at cropping so appoligies

It had 0 miles on so i guess it was reset by the tech on the PDI like i know VWs can be done once upto 50 miles..

Also made a couple of small cosmetic mods

I put in my old mats but they look shabby so will be ordering the new proper carpet mats

Ditched the uncool franchise tax disc holder for summit nicer,, not sure how long it will stay on as it did not like the curve in the glass too much

Looks so much nicer than a Grande Punto Active, wheel trims look much better on the EVO than the Grande's ones. Nice car :D

Really want mine now  lol

I do find these trims look the part for what they are,, you can normally tell them apart miles away but these look good.

Day lights & tail light,, well certainly side light, excuse the wild distortion

For years i have always put seat covers on,, some folk just cant get all there food in there cake hole, i really need new ones or an iron,

A clean up & the old mats went in now,, but could do with fancy new ones i recon,, i thought the dealer would have given my paper mats to get home with,, you know the ones the mechanics use before driving a cust car,, or at least i hope they still use them,, my garage used too,,

I also like the fact that on models without fog lights at the front they've designed the plastic to make it look they are't meant to be there, instead of just some circular covers that would look rubbish

I got this in a week but only cause i wanted this colour,, they had the ordinary black, green, blue in stock so could of been shorter,,

I guess most on here waiting put in a specific order with options?

I heard a customer today ask when they were gona start pre-registering them,, probally wanted more cash off,,

I got £2000 of the list on this but not sure of Fiat were running an offer,, i know they had a March offer on finance,, but then next month may offer summit better,, chance i take i suppose,, was not planning to change my GP untill August / Sep,, but this is better now.

Yeah,, but i also miss the things i know could be there but just arent,, like the ambient lights on the handles,, just a cover,,

& the space cut out of the plastic beside the boot courtesy light for the 12v output,,

The tail gate new opening mechanism,, not on the active

The tom tom port,, not on the active,,

Everything else seems to be A OK,,

the badge doesnt press in on the boot on the active

Its a shame about the TomTom Port, though if you didnt buy a tomtom to go with it it'd be abit of a "wtf is that?" every time someone got in the car, and atleast you've got a space big enough for a pair of sun glasses etc on the dash :)

You'll get used to the GSI, if you follow what it says it'll certainly give you alot more MPG, i like it because i often "cruise" at higher than 2k RPM and the GSI just reminds me to change, watching the instant consumption + GSI is a good combo (and watching the road ofc)

S&S is abit mind blowing, even in mine 3 weeks later it feels wrong to be sitting in a car with air con / radio / dash etc lit up but no sound at all coming from the engine.... that said, ive learnt not to let it kick in all the time, only when i know im stopping kinda thing, and never when im at the head of the traffic lights

Car looks good, much the same as my Eleganza from the outside (and most of the inside), and i agree with MrBoney its good that fiat use a different insert for cars without the fog lights, it would bug me if there was 2 rings on the bumper!

Anyways, Grats on the car :D
