Technical Fiat Punto Evo - Ambient Lighting question.

I picked up my Punto Evo Eleganza earlier today, 1 problem (paint blemish on drivers door which is being booked in & fixed.

and one query, Ambient lighting... ive got the orange strip light on the dash thats fine, passenger door handle has an orange light on it aswell... but the driver & both rear passenger doors dont?

I've only noticed (now its dark), it looks/feels as if theres a light there but isnt lighting up?

Just wondering if all 4 interior door handles are ment to light up?

Also, Blue&Me TomTom doesn't want to connect to the car, just says check cars bluetooth is turned on. (Phone connects to the car just fine.)

I'll try updating Blue&Me in the morning or will that cause problems? ... if not, options?

P,s i know this one belongs on the Blue&Me forum (and its there), but Blue&Me TomTom has a limited knowledge base, Blue&Me TomTom + Punto Evo has an even more limited knowledge base so I've put it here too.

I think you would be better asking your dealer imo. We all have very limited knowledge at the moment of these new bits, the dealer may be more useful

Think you maybe right, doesnt seem to like the update, TomTom Blue&Me connect to Blue&Me, i'll goto the main dealer on friday and get em to look at it + the ambient lighting.

Punto Evo - Need Help With Ambient Lighting (Again)

If people read the previous thread i made a week ago, my punto evo came with only 1 ambient bulb on the passenger door handle & in the dash, but none on the other door handles.

So i took it back to the dealership and well...

Just got back from the fiat dealership regarding my Ambient Lighting in my Punto Evo Eleganza, they've said they fixed the driver-side ambient light, so i now have passenger side / dash light / driver side ambient lighting.

But, they told me in the rear its not fitted etc, which seems abit strange considering its the highest comfort model, theres no other extra's etc i could of had, and there's floppy blanking plates covering a space for what is obviously reserved for Ambient Light's.

Does anyone know if its ment to be on all 4 doors?

if not...

I was wondering if any salesman (or anyone else who can get theres hands on one) could find an Eleganza (Or Sporting i believe) awaiting pickup, and just open the door & stick the key in (maybe turn on sidelights), small lights on interior door handles should come on, easily spotted by looking at the passenger door from the drivers seat.....And just see if the rear interior handles light up too.... and if possible take note if the car has leather or cloth interior.

I'm going back to fiat tomorrow to pick up the car at 3pm, so id like to go back with some ammo.

I'm not sure but I'd suggest that they are blanked off because the same handles are used for the front and rear doors, the fronts get the lamp or a blank the rears just get a blank?

I know it's not before 3pm tomorrow but my EVO Eleganza arrives in April and I can let you know what mine has, atleast I know what yours has incase I have any not working lol
