ok here goes. i live in portugal and have a fiat strada pick up, which you can't get in uk. i have lost my keycode and have only one blue hub key left. no spare key, i bought the car new in 2000 and am the sole owner. recently i have noticed the code light come on and the car is immobilised. i then have to leave the pick up, walk home, return 3 hours later and it will start again. but its so intermittent i cannot use it. i have been told it will cost a bomb to get new keys and a new code, or is this the root of the problem!!!!
i would be happy to pay a reasonable price for a new key, or even would consider overriding the immobiliser just to get the car to start..
please need some help here, and willing to pay for a nights worth on the ale for anyone who can solve this for me without having to talk pigeon portuguese to fiat.
