Beeping noise on standard mk2b radio cassette player, seemingly when tuned in to a station with a weak signal ie good quality audio but no RDS. Is there anyway to turn off this noise, its really annoying when using an fm transmitter!!

its probably the rds system looking for a stronger signal the hand book should tell you how to turn the AF off, by the way fm transmiters are illegal in the uk

Thanks for the reply Fm transmitters are now legal in the uk as the original laws related to phonographic acts of the 40's. Ofcom were under the impression mass pirate radio stations could be set up using them, until this was disproved.
