I've got a 1988 Panda 4x4 (999cc). When i accelerate i get a vibration, its coming more from the body rather than just the steering wheel. The brakes were binding but i have replaced the capilers and this had solved most of the vibrations, but there is still some there. Its not coming from the prop as i have taken that off and it still vibrates. I have also had the wheels balanced and aligned. Anyone got any ideas? I think it might be one of the cv joints, or the engine mounts.

Also does anyone know what the timing should be, is it 2 degress like the standard 999cc fire?

Only bought my first fiat yesterday, but from practical experience, if you've had binding calipers, especially where they are the floating variety, it generally means that the caliper has bent the disk, and then you will get vibration while driving, and a harder shudder while braking. It took 3 bent disks for me to learn to maintain disk brakes better (on road bikes).
