hiya all

need a hand if possible

my mum has a renault espace v6 and the cambelt needs changing. her regular garage said that they cant do it but Renault dealers want around £1300 for it and the spark plug change (plugs alone take 3 hoours apparently...)

anyway, does anoyone know of a renault specialist in the South East or of any good Renault forums that will be able to help?

Just done a quick search and that price seems what it costs due to it being an engine out job...Don't know any Renault specialists but there are plenty out there.

I take its an engine drop out the bottom type job

if it was a DUB wagon then you just pull the seats out and wholla, the whole top of teh engine and electronics whilst you are INSIDE the vehicle and dry and windfre

The same as the 5-cylinder Fiat/Alfas then to change the belt, engine out....
