Difficult to understand exactly what you are saying. So the oil is not the problem, merely a software glitch with the warning light. Why is this such an enormous problem - just get the dealer to sort it when you have the time - it must be fixable? You can read many examples of rogue warning lights for various cars here, and on othe forums too: they are a modern day car reality unfortunatley.
Try buying a VW or Merc!
My friends have a Merc E Class and it now has to have four new dampers and some steering thing fixed - at £1500 - plus various warning lights haven't worked for years (they want a fortune for a new dash panel), and it has to go in for the second time to have rusting dealt with. It is a 2002 and has done 60,000 miles. I can't tell you how much has gone wrong with it, and it has broken down twice. So perhaps Fiats aren't so bad after all
