I believe the checkered thing was for sale on German fleabay about 6 months ago, but I do not know whether it was actually sold.

That things insane...the amount of engineering that must have gone into that to make it work properly and not twist the chassis with the torque must have been phenomonal! That gets full respect from me!:worship:

I seen that Lil Whopper at Santa Pod, its a member of a drag racing club called Outlaw Flat Four (its the air-cooled VW powered one). Its lightning quick!! Its in my Volsworld mag this month but thats at home. IIRC it runs 10 sec quarter miles and does the most outrageous wheel stands you've ever seen
