I got the Uno Turbo in July, 7 months back, it was bought off ebay for £409 and I drove it back a 4 hour journey from Bournemouth... although it seemed shorter than this!

I've had an Uno, F98 PEF, that I was going to restore the previous summer, but the extent of the rotworm, the fact that the arches were beaten in and not actually widened, the smoking and unevenness of the engine, the fuel pump problems and... lots of other things, directed me to not restore this. The suspension, hormann bodykit and some peformance enhancing modifications were to be removed from this shell and fitted onto the NEW Uno (G550 UOD).

Objectives
- Have arches widened and all rust treated
- Lower the car -60mm/-40mm front/rear with Jamex springs & shocks
- Fit Hormann Motorsport bodykit
- Fit 15" TSW Blade alloy wheels
- Fit Mk2 doors
- Fit 3x8" subwoofers
- Fit 80s Radio/Cassette (one better than the standard fitted one!)
- Spray car black
Final Stages
- Fit Golf MKIV seats on custom subframes... low down
- Fit MK2 dash, partial loom, centre console, white dials
- Tune engine to over 160bhp
