Just wondering if anyone can help me.

My punto 1.2 ELX 51 plate, has started to make a clunking noise when i turn the wheel, it only occurs when still, in reverse or in first gear.

Any ideas of why it is making this noise??

ive got the same problem - i'm yet to get it diagnosed but people on here have suggested it could be the CV joints, driveshafts, or the steering column cowling.

is it like a clicking noise during hard maneouvering?

it is louder than a clicking. More like a huge cog turning, it is loud from outside the car, everyone stares arghhh!! It just sounds really serious and dangerous if i dont get it sorted out. Thank you
