Can anyone tell me about my Marea's problem? it is 2000 reg 100SX 1.6. Milage is just over 60K.I just bought this car 1 week ago.

1.It is fine and smooth on motorways, but I can hear some noises (like hitting 2 steel rods )from the lower and front part when I drive on a little bit uneven surface roads and passing speed humps.

2. When I do reverse parking, I can hear some crushing sounds for front wheels at some extent

3. When I hold the steer at mid position, car deviated to the right side.

I'm just worried if I could save to drive on motorway before reparing

Sounds like your front suspension drop links. About £19 each from Fiat, about 30 mins each to fit, assuming you have correct tools and don't mind skinned knuckles. Two bolts, but a bit awkward access.

Just about to say the same thing George.......

Had the drop links done on both of my Marea's, and will probably need at least one doing on the Weekend again soon.....
