I have a 1 yr old Multipla. According to the manual the std radio/cassette has provision for wiring in a handfree phone kit, with radio fade and message playback through a door speaker, and the radio has a 'phone' menu. My dealer says it's not supported here - anybody know if it's worth pursuing this, or better to just get a 3rd party kit?

Depends on the Radio. It worked all ok on my.
Most radios have radio mute with phone input.

I would try a ICE installer. look in Yellow pages ring up and ask them as they will be able to tell you iff it is possible.
