Fitted A new battery on my Coupe 20v VIS at the weekend. Started fine but went back to it an hour later and that red injector light was on, seems as if engine is running on 3 cylinders, wont even tick over. Its been a while since plugs were changed. Any ideas would be great.

Why not read the codes?

Yes i would code read first and note the numbers.

If your only running 3 cylinders does that mean you've dropped out 2.

Well it materialised that the rocker cover gasket had failed and oil had polluted coil packs, have a new set ordered, not cheap !!

I got 155VIS in Marea and my thee of coilpacks swam in oil. Rocker cover gasket was around 20€ and on coilpacks only the part going down to the hole had gone and the rubber/metal spring thing needed to be cleaned and dried (it detaches from the coilpack). Also changing the the gasket is really easy if you got ribe set.

Did yours actually break the coilpack upper part?

No, everything seems to be ok, will fit new gasket and old coil packs first. If everything is ok I can return the new packs.
