Hi all.
Hope your all safe and well.
Posted before on throttle housing issues.
Once lockdown was lifted got car looked at and a replacement one was fitted.
On two separate computer in a local garage, great. all's well!
Two days later car wouldn't start, got the garage to look at it, diagnostic is throwing up issues with coils, plugs and more.
They're trying to source a replacement ECG,this was a few weeks ago:bang:the
Question is... Do I cut my loses and sell for spare or repair or wait till the garage find one eventually.(y)(n)
Car is a 57 panda 4x4, only got it in December 2018 for going back and forward to work. Only had one owner.
Sound advice would really be appreciated.

Coils are leads are dirt cheap. In fact most parts for the panda are dirt cheap.

The engine ECU connectors are known for breaking down. Poor connectors in there will raise the sorts of faults you have noted.

In all the time I have been on this forum we have never had the ECM fail fully.

Its unlikely to be the cause of the problem. Unless its been damaged by the garage

We really need the error codes. P0???

I was thinking about the ECM cable connector. It's a common issue on 1100s though 1200s seem to be reliable. The point is to check that before assuming the ECM is faulty.
