Hi I have a 1.3 and had a service they never reset the light I have managed to turn it off by the pedal trick but now I'm left with this error code could this be because I need to plug it in and reset the oil degeneration

Google may well give you the VAG or BMW definition ..

If you SEARCH it on FIATFORUM you will get the correct definition..and the possibilty of learning what the fix was

Did you tell the garage that they only performed half the job you paid them for..?

I looked up p0520 as low oil pressure warning , hence suggesting check oil level,
Check it has oil in engine.

I guess should have spelled it out for the poster, sorry.

Is the check engine light on??? Had the same code fault - oil pressure sensor fault . But there is no oil pressure sensor on this 1.3 JTD - its virtual oil pressure using computer AI(Artificial Intelligence - using neural network algorithm). It can predict oil pressure using the other sensors

Post was 6 weeks ago..

Not sure they looked in again
