A lot of "conflicting" figures on these threads.
Bolts are M12 x 1.25
Crunched the bolts up with my spider - as I have done for nearly 50 years (and that figure was frightening when I thought about it!!). Checked with my torque wrench - 85Nm Maybe a bit high but it will do.
This question has come up quite often lately. Like others I never really torque wheel bolts, you tend to get a feel for it. Cars are provided with small wheel wrenches for the very purpose not to over tighten yer nuts.
Wheech up the bolts/nuts as far to initial tightness, then a wee bit more, you tend to hear a bit metal squeak. Been doing this for decades without any problems.
