Hi all, I have an option to buy a fiat Panda.
The seller says it needs a key booster.
What is it? Where do I find it?
Is it a cheap fix?
Apparently the car is currently being used

The only
' half logical'..

Thing I can think of is that the aerial is struggling to read the key chip..

So the immobiliser gets in the way.

Again..ask her the context.

Its a weird phrase..

So interpretation could be the key.

She has sold it

She probably meant the immobiliser ring antenna. It is plastic ring that fits around the ignition switch. Used parts cost about £20. New - probably about double. They do fail over time and are easy enough to fit with some fiddling about to remove plastic covers around the steering column.
