Hi all

I’ve been trawling Peugeot forum :bang::bang: for advice on my problem with a Scudo thought I’d try here .

The heap Broke down on a long journey RAC diagnosed EGR . Changed that with a cheap new one , not cured
Tried MAF not cured
Tried MAP not cured
Changed fuel filter
115000 km shows on dash ( for some reason not English miles or screen notifications)

Have been using a “launch” code reader and collecting various codes over the last couple of weeks tinkering .

Latest code keeps coming up P0402 Gas recycle to exhaust . Engine in limp mode constantly. Have tried blanking off EGR but currently open . Have been told cheap EGR often doa but what else can I try ?

I have a Fiat 1.6 tc in my 7 replica currently converted to throttle bodies (Suzuki motorbike) on micro squirt . Built car from plans 10 years ago.

Also own a 500 f 1969

58 reg not much if any history , it’s owned by my daughters boyfriend .

If you remove the plug from one of the dubious sensors..
does the subtitute figure from ECU make it run better.
