I am having trouble installing the right engine mount after timing belt replacement. I removed the transmission mount put a wood block under the oil pan and used a hydraulic jack to slowly lift the right side of the engine upward but it will not go far enough to slide in the mount. What might I be doing wrong? Any suggestions? It's so very close to going in but not......

If it's safe to do so you might need to get hands on and manually rock the engine about until it's in position. I guess you've already tried that but I cannot think of anything else right now friend.

Are you sure you have the parts assembled in the correct way?

As a guide.. the plastic engine cover : air filter should be level.

If it is NOT level.. then look around to see what might be snagging the motor.
