I am having trouble installing the right engine mount after timing belt replacement. I removed the transmission mount put a wood block under the oil pan and used a hydraulic jack to slowly lift the right side of the engine upward but it will not go far enough to slide in the mount. What might I be doing wrong? Any suggestions? It's so very close to going in but not......

Are you sure you have the parts assembled in the correct way?
As a guide.. the plastic engine cover : air filter should be level.
If it is NOT level.. then look around to see what might be snagging the motor.

The mount I am trying to install is the one that mounts to the front of the engine after installing the new timing belt. This is not the mount that connects the engine to the chassis. The top mount connects to this one.
Could be a different set up in the USA ?
