Hi all... new to the site...

I have a 2007, 1.4 litre, petrol punto grande.

I’ve looked all over the internet for a second hand/refurbed 6 speed gear box. As that’s what my car has inside it, unfortunately all I’m finding is 5 speed.

I bought the car from a guy that knew little about it, I’m just wondering if maybe this 6 speed gearbox isn’t a stock item, because I’m only finding 5 speed punto grande’s.

If anyone knows of anyone breaking a 6 speed punto id massively appreciate some contact details, or just information in general.

I’m paying good money so please please someone must know something ?

GP's were made with both 5 and 6 speed gearboxes..model dependent.

Whats model's yours?..ie Active /Dynamic/Sport...is it 8 or 16 valve?...

I don't know if the 5-speed has the same final drive ratio as the 6-speed but if it were me I'd put any gearbox I could find in good condition with similar final drive ratio and slave cilinder type (external vs internal) on my car.
