This morning my granddaughter and I were taking a drive in the warm morning air , actually to see my son who was working close by and suddenly my power windows quit working. The car has been working great, I've fixed so many things and now this was just so frustrating. However when I got home and after checking every fuse in the car I read on this forum of a wonky relay. Wow! that was it. I was so relieved then pissed. Really, c'mon Fiat. This forum is amazing, thanks to everyone.

I have had a similar problem a couple of times
I just pressed the relay back in as it had worked loose and all was ok
It is the big dark green relay found under the passenger dash

Thank you Phil R - yes, although I didn't know which one was the window relay, I have previously pushed and tapped all the relays (the ones under the passenger airbag cover) and nothing helped. I wonder if a car relay of any type can be bench-tested ?

I would take out the relay and re insert to make sure a tight fit
Maybe check the terminals for dirt etc and clean up if needed

I had a similar intermittent fault on the indicator relay, when held in place with a finger it worked when released it didn't. With a slight pressure I spread the contacts and its been ok ever since.
