Hi,
My front o/s spring occasionally rubs against the bodywork on the inside of the wheel well. Happens when I'm going lock to lock eg when parking. It's as if the spring is either warped or out of alignment.

Has anyone experienced this before? Any tips/advice other than removing the strut and changing the spring?

Hi, No, not had a look at the spring moving as need somebody else to turn the steering wheel while I look. What are you thinking? What should I look out for? I understand it just turns as you turn the steering.

The spring must either be fractured, or the top mount has collapsed.

You need to remove the damper (it's just three bolts) and have a look at which it is.
