Morning all!
My guess this has been done to death but i cant seem to find any information about the wiring circuits to the boot catch. No doubt i have been looking in the wrong areas! My apologise in advance...

The car is a 2012 500c

Same old problem a lot of you have had, boot catch not releasing. Press the remote boot unlock, silence. Use the exterior handle, silence.. No clicks, no whirring, no smoke....Quite glad about the last one to be honest..
Have had a Volt meter & test light onto the plug at the boot lock. Got 12v at White Yellow, 4v at White Grey, 0v at Black & 0v at Purple.
When the plug is in the boot lock, i get 12v at White Yellow & all others are showing 0v.
Anyone got any ideas?

Am suspecting the lock itself but could be any number of issues in reallity. Anyone got a wiring diagram i can have a look at?
Many thanks all! (y)

OK.
Done a bit more research into this & came across an interesting thread on another site. Seemed a bit far fetched but it worked for me.
This is on a 500c.
Engine running or ign on.
Hold roof close button for 3-5 sec
Open roof fully & hold button for 3-5 sec when open.
Close roof & release button with NO 3-5 second hold.
Roof will run through an open close automatic sequence. DO NOT TOUCH BUTTONS UNTIL SEQUENCE HAS FINISHED.
Boot has been reset & fob or exterior catch works.
Worked for me & May help someone out.
Try it at your own risk as no responsibility accepted if it all goes horribly wrong on your car.
