Hi, I have a Fiat Fiorino (59 Late ). I recently flattened the rear seat to accommodate moving some things. The rear seat seems to have jammed in the forward folded position as the middle seat belt seems to have gone onto emergency stop mode?

Please can you advise?

If you squash the swab of the seat at the point where the belt is tight whilst being laid down you can usually get it to retract a tiny bit, then very slowly pull it out. I have a plastic freezer bag clip and if I ever flatten the seats I pull the belt out a foot and clip it so there’s plenty of slack. They just don’t like operating at anything other than the correct angle, reassuring if you and the car are the wrong way up, annoying when you buy furniture.
