Hi folks

Is there any way to re-program the ECU to either turn off or re-calibrate the ludicrous gear change prompt on the dash of a 1.2 Pop?
If I actually followed it's bonkers recommendations I'd be travelling so slowly I'd be in danger of making no progress at all. There's no torque so you can't just roll on and off the throttle to allow for slopes & for acceleration.

That's weird because the twin air gear indicator adapts more or less to your driving style and neats. If you have to accelerate to enter a freeway or going up a hill with speed it will adapt the gear changes to high up in the rev range. Just ignore it I would say.
