Xmas gift suggestion required...

That would be ideal but the delivery time is probably a bit too iffy for xmas. Noted for his birthday though :D

So many problems with that suggestion not least because it's a gift from his grandparents. Although it wouldn't be much better if it was a gift from his aunt...

The poor lad would be scarred for life - mind you he's a ford fan so he's damaged already

Ford? Get him a Haynes car manual then to save him a bit of money

I thought this would be the one place I would get away from that!

The Haynes manual wasn't a bad suggestion as the nephew was telling me earlier that he'd been downloading manuals and things from the internet yesterday. Final top up gifts were a model escort RS cosworth and some LED light things for the dashboard of his focus

The model car definitely did but not so sure about the LED lights as they're probably a bit too modern for his taste. He prefers classic cars rather than newer ones and would love to own a car with an old-style choke. Both his Dad and I have told him they were a complete pain but he refuses to listen and thinks it would be really cool.

We only do strange in my family :)

Pull choke = early cruise control... he is a supporter of pioneering technology!

Thread bump time as this question has come up once again. Once again a top-up gift is required for a slightly deranged (ford fan) nephew. Price tag is £10-20 and preferably car-based. I suggested the piston mug on the front page but he's not a big tea/coffee drinker (like his Aunt) so that's been discarded. I also read out Stuart's suggestion of a dildo but my sister vetoed that too unsurprisingly

Suggestions anyone?

Let me have a think about it... I will either come up with something great, or not so great... or something in between.

Has he got a project car or a favourite pin up car? What about a caricature of it?

No and no. He's a fan of classic fords but I'm not sure if he has a favourite. A caricature is an option though if we can find one
