Hi All.
I've been owning, driving and taking Fiat cars to pieces (and putting them back together) since 1973. I've had everything from a 128 to a 131 to a Strada an Uno and now for my sins I'm owning a 500L. I have to say its a brilliant little car and since I use it on and off road I ought to know.
However, in all the models I've owned and driven and taken to bits I've never seen disc brakes used as the handbrake before. And I don't for the life of me understand how it works. Does anyone have a workshop manual that shows how the internal parts are put together to make it work.
I know that Hayes the manual people don't do a manual for the 500L but I was hoping one of you folks might have a schematic drawing that would explain it.
Let me also say that the fr0ont brakes are a complete doddle to overhaul by comparison.
Thanks for your attention.
Jock.
