Interested in purchasing a 1980 fiat 2000... trying to get information from the owner as far is if it is carb or fuel injection, but he's being pretty stingy with information. Seemed annoyed that I even called him

I noticed on his photos, he has a gauge in the middle of his dash (to the right of the speedometer) that looks different from stock. Also, there is a array of buttons numbered 1-6 in front of the shift knob before the ash tray. Any idea on what this is?

The car is 2 hrs away, so if I can get more information on it, it'd be worth the drive. He said it's a barn find and that it is in good shape considering. Attached link for reference!
