This time the bonnet opening to block his view caused the Fiat driver to calmly stop on a busy highway. Fortunately, the truck driver behind was able to stop quickly enough to just give his car a hefty nudge. The driver of the 500 appears to have been badly injured but will recover; I'm not sure about the 500. This is why I fitted my little Abarth-style rubber bonnet catch...belt and braces me. [emoji3]

That's why I always keep the sunroof/observation hatch open!

Joking aside, it was a horrible accident, and let's hope the driver makes a full recovery.

Note to self "always remember to check that the bonnet is closed and latched."

Im wondering if I could contact them to buy the roof panel?
