Hi everybody.
I can’t tune even frequency in my Radio ( for example 106.0, 106.2, ,,) .
How I can update my radio?) IMG_2405.JPG

And how upload Eurasia maps?)
Please some body help me!)

Your uConnect variants from anywhere out of Europe (e.g. Asia, Australia, America), you CANNOT flash our firmware packages or else you'll end up bricking the device with it being unable to boot as our variants use different system boards.

If you take it apart it will say ROW on it (Rest of world).

So in the states, you must update using their official site by entering your VIN at: https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html (will wont work on European cars)

If there are no updates, try to find ROW firmwares somewhere or contact your dealer if you're within warranty.

If you have uConnect live I believe OTA updates are available and for the TomTom side of things, this can be updated through TomTom Home software when you make a prepared USB. You should note that European map updates are not free unfortunately unless you have a Mopar map care thing.

Edit: My bad you have got the uConnect 6.5", you don't have the TomTom GPS thats only on the 5 inch nav model (http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/an...67/~/installing-a-map-on-uconnect-5-radio-nav), I think it's a custom iGo/in-home solution by Fiat, try this site: https://maps.mopar.eu/en/home, if not you're better off contacting Fiat.

If I get you right, you want to use an american 500L with an american radio in Europe ?

I don't think you can 'convert' the radio by doing a firmware update, since the updates check that they are on the correct 'platform'. But why do you mean you cannot tune in to 106 MHz ? AFAIK that frequency is also used in the US for FM radio broadcasting ...

EDIT: I get what you mean. Some US radios can only tune to uneven frequencies. You might want to check the following: UConnect 5 radios have an 'engineering mode', maybe the 6.5 also has such a mode (@LordMetro, do you know that ?), and maybe you can change that setting there. I THINK I saw a frequency step setting there when I played around, and wondered for what use that was ...

Ah, that would have made a lot more sense now. I do believe an engineering menu is present on the 6.5 as well. It should be similar to our 5' models.

From what I can see online, you can try holding this button combinations for 5 seconds when the radio is on.

No you only radio + more + browser / enter
If it does not go test with radio + media + browser / enter

Take a look and see if you find any frequency settings parameters you could change, I do remember something similar on our ones like Ez2517 suggests.

As for the updating sides of things, TL: DR, it seems like there isn't any updates for the 500L. Publicly available, but it may be on Fiat's dealership intranet? Most firmware packages from other car models do not exist for the 500L for some reason?

If you have the Europe model then the latest firmware from what I can source online is dependent on the project code. The problem with this model is that the 6.5' firmware is model specific so you'll need to look for project code 334 firmware (500l proj code.). The massive problem for firmware searching now is that all of the 'http://download.witexedi.aftersales.fiat.com/' links have been taken down and refer you to the Fiat eLink entry login page to download the firmware due to the sheer amount of firmware packages lying around the web and the potential of users flashing incorrect variants and then claiming under warranty

From what I can see there are a couple of versions available and all have been specific to some Jeep and Alfa cars, these are likely to have been made specific to their project codes.

So I have found:

Proj Code 191 (Alfa giulietta)
https://forum.clubalfa.it/threads/u...oftware-17-07-55.112304/page-157#post-1525259
18.01.41
17.35.41
17.07.55

Jeep Renegade
17.37.31

Fiat 500X (334)
VP4_334_17.07.46
VP4_334_18.01.37

https://500x.forumfree.it/?t=75847297
After installing the update you have to do "restore app" otherwise it will not read you anything

Soo... trying out url's with our 500L project code 330 and it's been hard to find one so far.

So we need to find a firmware for project code 330 and what makes it harder is that sniffing URL combinations are no longer a viable option now that Fiat has locked down their firmware packages from being public

Also, in your case, your maps provider is Here (not TomTom) for the 6.5' and their last maps were sometime in Q4/2015 and then the Jeep got some OTA update and that's it, the next update from Here Maps will be in March 2019 (which from the forum post may be a joke lol) and this will have to be done by the dealer as there are no official map updates that are being provided to the customers.

Well, Fiat is having a laugh for updating the OEM maps from Q2/2015 to Q4/2015 :D:D This 6.5' seems very rushed and badly supported, but so are the rest of the uconnect models in fairness.
