Hi all,

My missus' 500c needs new Front brakes, our ethos with the car as she likes it and never plans to sell it, (which means I ****e load of work for me :p) is if you have to replace might as well upgrade. She has Bilstein Sports shocks all round after a damper leaked so now it is the brakes turn.

What is good up to a budget of say £200?

I've got the mtec slotted and drilled discs, performance is increased...
But they make noise.... i can't drive slowly with the windows down if there's any surface that can bounce the sound back...

I'd say just get some OEM, or maybe ATE discs and pads (and also replace the pad mounting clips set.. if you don't the pads will squeak).

I was going to say just get standard Brembo discs and pads.

I’ve run them on my 500 and they’re far superior to the standard pads. Less dust as well.

Sorry for the late Reply it is a 1.2.

I'll look into the options thanks, (Y)

Just an update, I bought the Brembo Stuff when Euro Car Parts where having a 45% off sale £65 for Front Discs and Pads. They are much better now thanks.
