Hello,
My question is, if someone could help me localize the oil filter in my
fiat croma 1.9D multijet 2007.

I just can't find it...
A picture would be also a very nice helpout.

Thanks all for willing to help me out here.

Hi Welcome to Fiat Forum and the Croma,
On the 16V (150hp, I think 8V is the same) it is low down on the rear of the engine block. It's near the power steering pump and quite hard to get to. You need the under tray off. I'm at work so don't have access to photos.
I assume you know that it is a paper element? This is in a housing with a plastic cover (facing up) with a big hex moulded on it for a socket or spanner. It does not look like a conventional "spin-on" filter canister.
This is for a Saab 9-3, but basically the same car

I don't have a picture of the actual engine bay location as I don't own one, but here's the picture from ePer:

That cap should be easy enough to spot.

Guys, thank you for your responses.
My second guess was to take off the under tray and to start searching
from underneath. Now i'm 100% sure that this will be alot more work then i thought it would be... This is typically fiat engineering to let people give up and go to the dealer.. But anyways i will put an update when i'll start looking at it tommorow.

Thanks guys.
If someone else does have actual pictures it's always a great idea to help out with that too.

Greetings from Belgium to all.

No it's not a big job.
putting it back as it was can be a little bit tricky but not a big deal.
And wouldn't it be easier for us to locate it in a nice place somewhere where you just need to put your arm and you already would feel the filter thingy...??

Like most cars have...
For fiat cars it's always a bigger job then needed.
But i love to work and this challenges me to accomplish this work.
But for some people it may be very stressfull.

***Update***

I have changed my oil filter.
I made this video and hope it will help others.
(I don't know if i may put a external youtube link here but i'll try it out)
