My 2012 FIAT 500C got rear-ended by a BMW SUV. It felt like a hard hit, but the only damage, thankfully, is that one of the four backup sensors is now slightly pushed in instead of flush with the bumper. My husband went under the car and tried to access it, and he also tried going through the trunk, but still could not access the sensor to try to push it back into place. As far as I can tell the sensors still work. I am trying to avoid a visit to the body shop, but I would like to get the sensor back in place to avoid water and dirt getting inside it.

Any ideas?
