The Alfa forums are full of people who have chipped, mapped and de-EGR'd JTD's with various degrees of success and compromised reliability.
It would be interesting as my HGT is limited by electronics to get any benefit from engine tuning. A JTD HGT could be the way forward. Similar to the Skoda Fabia VRS. The diesel version is far more receptive to tuning and reliable than the petrol version.
If that fails you can't beat redneck nitrous.
